Katariina YrttimaaBasaali Ltd (inc. 2005) is a Finnish company providing clinical expertise in neuropsychology and neuropsychiatry - researching and rehabilitating children, adolescents, adults and elderly persons with different kinds of neurological and/or psychiatric problems or disorders.

Pervasive occupational and scientific education around neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric themes are constantly sustained at our company. Neurologic and psychiatric themes as well as medicine and neurochemical and neuromolecular disorders are part of our daily work. We utilise modern technology in health and rehabilitation. Besides of the broad psychological, neuropsychological and neuropsychiatric knowledge it is in our interest to keep track with the newest information in aforementioned areas. We also have quite good knowledge of commercial themes of the business world .This multidimensional and broad interest and knowledge are provided for the good of each and every client in research, rehabilitation and (neuro)therapeutic situations at Basaali Ltd.

Scientific research kicked off under the supervision of the Tampere University
At Basaali Ltd, we are committed to lifelong studying concerning vocational but also scientific expertise. In fact, we have recently started scientific research in which we are examining cognitive functions of young adults having depression or ADD/ADHD disorder. The ongoing research is a doctoral thesis of psychology and it is supervised by Mervi Jehkonen (Docent of neuropsychology) and Jari Hietanen (Professor) at the Tampere University, Finland.
